<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>Alexandra Knight <\/strong><\/p>\nSTEMAZING\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nAlex is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the IMechE and Fellow of the Women\u2019s Engineering Society. After a career of over 15 years in Industry working in engineering consultancy and innovation, she founded STEMAZING in 2019 \u2013 a social enterprise dedicated to inspiration and inclusion in STEM.<\/p>\n
Through the organisation\u2019s two key themes – STEMAZINGWomen and STEMAZINGKids, Alex leads several not-for-profit initiatives to empower women in STEM to shine as visible role models and link this to inspiring our future generations of innovators and problem-solvers. To date STEMAZING has supported hundreds of women in STEM globally, and delivered over 30,000 STEMAZINGKids sessions.<\/p>\n
Alex is also a Visiting Professor with the Royal Academy of Engineering at Brunel University London, regular keynote speaker at events and schools, and has featured as an engineering expert on TV programmes, such as Ancient Engineering on Channel 5, Prime and CuriosityStream.<\/p>\n
