<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>Elena BOERMAN<\/strong><\/p>\nKarlsruhe Teknoloji Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc (KTI), Almanya<\/strong><\/p>\nElena Boerman is a PhD candidate and research associate in teaching, research and innovation at the Chair of Sustainable Construction at the KIT Faculty of Architecture.<\/span><\/p>\nShe studied architecture at KIT, where she obtained her master's degree in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\nShe was awarded the Friedrich Weinbrenner Prize for her final thesis, which focussed on urban planning and architectural strategies for dealing with existing post-war modernist building structures.<\/span><\/p>\nTogether with Sandra B\u00f6hm, she is responsible for setting up a new type of materials library at the KIT Faculty of Architecture with a focus on circular architecture.
