Elena BOERMAN

Elena Boerman is a PhD candidate and research associate in teaching, research and innovation at the Chair of Sustainable Construction at the KIT Faculty of Architecture.

She studied architecture at KIT, where she obtained her master's degree in 2021.

She was awarded the Friedrich Weinbrenner Prize for her final thesis, which focussed on urban planning and architectural strategies for dealing with existing post-war modernist building structures.

Together with Sandra Böhm, she is responsible for setting up a new type of materials library at the KIT Faculty of Architecture with a focus on circular architecture. She is also involved in courses for Bachelor's and Master's students as well as research projects, events and exhibitions.  ⇐ Back
