Deploy Tech CTO

Beren Kayalı completed her high school education at Darüşşafaka Schools in 2013, and graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2017. After that, she went to the United Kingdom to complete her master's degree.

While studying for a dual master's degree in Innovation and Design Engineering at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, she won the Royal Commission for the Exhibition 1851 Scholarship.

After graduating, she became the CTO of Deploy Tech, a company she co-founded to make both social and environmental impact. Beren Kayalı, who has received over £700,000 in support for R&D, was also honored with the titles of Young Innovator of the Year and Woman in Innovation by Innovate UK, one of the UK's leading research and innovation agencies.

In 2023, she was elected to the  Entrepreneurship Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the most prestigious engineering community in the UK. Additionally, thanks to the humanitarian and environmental initiatives she spearheaded through Deploy, she was awarded the UNICEF Innovation30 prize, given to successful entrepreneurs under the age of 30.  ⇐ Back  ⇐ Back
